Suffolk, CO Architects to Deliver UCSF Mission Bay Project

Suffolk and CO Architects have been selected to deliver the University of California, San Francisco Mission Bay Education Center and Dental Clinics project through a progressive Design-Build delivery model.

The partnership between Suffolk and CO Architects brings together deep experience delivering complex healthcare, research and higher education facilities. Working alongside UCSF from the outset, the integrated team will provide early construction and design expertise to help inform key decisions, manage project complexity and align scope, budget and schedule expectations throughout the planning process. Supported by Suffolk Design, the project will leverage design management, technical reviews and sustainability expertise to align intent, value and project goals from the earliest stages of development.

The project will create new educational, clinical and collaborative spaces that support the university’s mission across dental education, research and patient care while providing learning environments for UCSF’s broader health sciences community. Designed to support collaboration among faculty, researchers and clinicians, the facility will help advance emerging models of interdisciplinary healthcare and prepare the next generation of healthcare professionals.
