Suffolk Leveraging Advanced Construction Tech on White Plains Hospital Expansion

A groundbreaking ceremony was held for White Plains Hospital’s (White Plains, New York) largest-ever campus transformation project: a 10-story, approximately 500,000-square-foot expansion that will nearly double the size of the hospital when it opens in 2028. The expansion will connect with the existing hospital on the main floor, emergency department and operating room levels. A total of 240 additional, private, single-bed inpatient rooms, 144 of which will open in 2028, will increase the hospital’s total number of licensed inpatient beds from 292 to 436.
