abrdn’s Airport Industrial Property Unit Trust fund has begun construction on its latest airport-related warehouse development at Blackthorne Point, located immediately to the west of Heathrow Airport on the Poyle Trading Estate in London, England. The new, 27,760-square-foot building will occupy a 1.2-acre plot along Blackthorne Road in Poyle, just across from Heathrow’s Terminal 5 and close to Junction 14 of the M25. Joint Venture Awarded Design-Build Contract for 4 New National Schools in Ireland

BAM Ireland has been awarded the Design-Build contract for four new national schools in Dublin and Cork, Ireland as part of a Department of Education’s Design and Build Framework Schools Bundle in a joint venture with Glasgiven Contracts. The four new school projects are located at Ballinteer, Cherrywood and Knocklyon in Co. Dublin, while the fourth is at Carrs Hill, Douglas, Co. Cork. Work has already commenced on all four sites.
