Demolition Continues at Queen’s Wharf Tower Precinct
Delta Group will commence demolition of the former Queen’s Wharf Visitor Centre, which will require construction of new external hoarding on the corner of George and Alice streets in Brisbane, Australia. For the past 2 1/2 years, the Queens Wharf Visitor Centre has been a key attraction for tourists and locals, alike. The Centre recently closed to make way for demolition and early works of the Queen’s Wharf Tower Precinct. New Icon, Entrance for Amsterdam IJburg Delivered
After four years of construction, Sluishuis has been completed. Amsterdam IJburg, located in the Netherlands, now has a new, architecturally iconic landmark. The building forms a bridge between IJburg and the city center. With 442 different types of owner-occupied and rental homes, a public greenroof garden with a rooftop walkway, bird and recreational islands, jetties for boats and catering facilities, Sluishuis is a place for everyone. Thomas Mann Joins The Christman Company as Superintendent
Thomas Mann has joined The Christman Company as a superintendent in the construction management and real estate development firm’s office in Knoxville, Tennessee. Mann’s onsite project responsibilities include creating a positive safety environment. Mann recently moved from Wisconsin to Knoxville and previously served in superintendent roles for Gardner Builders and JP Cullen. He earned an associate degree in supervisory management from Gateway Technical College and holds multiple certifications, including completing Occupational Safety and Health Administration 30-hour safety training.
