HostDime Corporate Headquarters, Data Center Reach Construction Milestone

HostDime and construction firm Robins & Morton recently celebrated the topping out of HostDime’s new Orlando-area corporate headquarters and data center in Eatonville, Florida. When finished, the seven-story, 100,000-square-foot building will house the only enterprise Tier IV public data center in Central Florida, as well as adjoining offices, client-focused and community meeting spaces, sports court and a history of the internet museum. TDIndustries Contributes to Dallas Skyline with Design-Build Project

As The Link at Uptown luxury office tower in Dallas, Texas draws in tenants to its stunning location, TDIndustries celebrates the completion of the mechanical construction phase of the Design-Build project. Over its three years of planning and construction with the owner and project partners Balfour Beatty, BOKA Powell and Kaizen Development, TD installed all of the HVAC, plumbing and building controls for the project, including three 300 ton chillers on the building’s roof. Thoughtful planning early on influenced design decisions that will save future repair and maintenance costs throughout the life of the building.

Construction Employment Surges in February to Near Pre-Pandemic Levels, Says ABC

The construction industry added 60,000 jobs on net in February, according to an Associated Builders and Contractors analysis of data released by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. Overall, the industry has recovered virtually all (99%) of the jobs lost during earlier stages of the pandemic. Nonresidential construction employment increased by 29,400 positions in February, with all three subsectors experiencing growth, and is up 3.9% over the past 12 months.
