Turner Construction Company’s Vancouver, British Columbia team celebrated its first ground-up project, with the recent completion of the Heather Place Redevelopment for Metro Vancouver Housing, located in Canada. The project included the construction of a five-story, 67-residential rental unit building, complete with a cast-in-place concrete structure, with fiberglass windows, a combination of metal, cement, brick veneer as well as exposed architectural concrete making up the exterior finishes. John Mathias Promoted to General Superintendent at Blach Construction
John Mathias has been promoted to general superintendent at Blach Construction, a full-service commercial builder serving California’s Greater Bay Area and Monterey. A 45-year construction veteran, Mathias joined Blach in 2012 as a superintendent with a diverse portfolio of innovative, complex projects. He was initially responsible for managing and supervising day-to-day activity on individual construction sites. 3D Technology Instrumental in Delivering First-Generation Office Space at Edison Windward
New construction is complete for Atlanta, Georgia’s Edison Windward and its interior build-out in the new office building for its healthcare tenants. Initiated early March, the project was a collaborative effort between general contractor Swinerton’s Building Group and Special Projects Group. The $4.5-million project entailed a build-out of more than 67,000 square feet of space within Edison.
