Balfour Beatty and its Far East joint venture, Gammon Construction, have been awarded the Homantin luxury residential project by Gold Topmont Limited. The project, worth HK$2.9 billion (c. £289 million), will become an iconic landmark in the Homantin residential area in Kowloon, Hong Kong. The project involves the construction of six residential towers, a clubhouse, outdoor swimming pool and a two-level basement with carpark areas. Children’s National Health System recently marked the official start of construction on its pediatric research and innovation campus with a groundbreaking event. Northacre, Multiplex Sign Contract for Delivery of ‘The Broadway’

Developer Northacre has selected Multiplex to deliver The Broadway development in Westminster, England, with the official contract signing recently carried out. Following a successful nine-month, single-stage competitive tender process for the £422m Design-Build contract, Multiplex will now deliver the 1.72-acre mixed-use development on the site of the former Metropolitan Police headquarters. Once completed, The Broadway will comprise 268 apartments across six towers, 142,000-square-feet of commercial and retail accommodation, public realm and a new thoroughfare linking Victoria Street with St. James’s Park tube station.
