SEATTLE, Wash. – Mortenson Construction has developed an augmented reality mobile app to help the University of Washington community “see” the future CSE2 computer science building – well before its doors open to students in January 2019. Dodge Momentum Index Stumbles in July
NEW YORK, N.Y. – The Dodge Momentum Index fell in July, dropping 3.3 percent to 135.0 (2000=100) from its revised June reading of 139.6. The momentum index is a monthly measure of the first (or initial) report for nonresidential building projects in planning, which have been shown to lead construction spending for nonresidential buildings by a full year. The move lower in July was due to a 6.6 percent decline in the institutional component of the momentum index, while the commercial component fell 1.1 percent. NCCER Congratulates 2017 SkillsUSA National Carpentry, Masonry Competition Winners
ALACHUA, Fla. — More than 6,000 outstanding career and technical education students competed in 100 different craft, technical and leadership fields. The competitions were part of the SkillsUSA Championships, which is the national-level competition for secondary and post-secondary students enrolled in CTE programs.
