Construction Complete on Bethune-Cookman University Residence Halls

Hensel Phelps has completed the construction of four new residence halls for Quantum Equity One LLC at Bethune-Cookman University in Daytona Beach, Florida. The four brand-new residence halls provide an additional 1,204 beds for students. The design and construction of this project was a collaborative effort between Hensel Phelps’ Development Group and Construction Group. Hensel Phelps Services Group has recently signed a contract with Bethune-Cookman to provide post-occupancy services to the university, thus integrating a total project solution for this landmark project. JQ Completes Work on UT Dallas’ Largest Parking Structure

DALLAS, Texas – JQ has substantially completed its structural engineering engagement on The University of Texas at Dallas’ Parking Structure IV that opened on the first day of classes this semester. Located on the west side of campus, the new $25.5-million facility will serve the needs of students, faculty, staff and visitors. The 392,000-gross-square-foot project is a standalone, five-story, cast-in-place post-tensioned garage that includes three signature garage entrances with elevator cores and stairs. BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Design-Build Institute of America will recognize Brasfield & Gorrie and its joint venture partner, RQ Construction, for their work on the Wallace Creek North Bachelor Enlisted Quarters Complex in Camp LeJeune, North Carolina.
