Hitachi Construction Machinery—Americas has introduced the newest additions to its Dash-6 lineup — the ZX670LC-6 and the ZX870LC-6. The two new excavators are powered by EPA Final Tier 4 (FT4)/EU Stage IV Isuzu engines that feature the latest engine technologies and do not require a diesel particulate filter. FT4 technology employs cooled exhaust gas recirculation, a diesel oxidation catalyst and selective catalytic reduction. The Solus 1000 Series Safety Eyewear and Goggle Gear 500 Series splash goggle now feature an anti-fog coating to help keep workers in construction seeing more clearly on the job.
