DPR Construction has welcomed 38 participants to its Build Up High School Intern Program, the largest cohort since the program began in 2017 and a 42% increase in participation compared to 2023. The program gives eligible high school juniors and seniors the opportunity to spend their summers working side by side with skilled project teams on major construction projects. Gilbane | Mosites Celebrate Topping Off of Robotics Innovation Center
Gilbane Building Company and joint venture partner Mosites Construction Company gathered with Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to celebrate the topping off ceremony for the new Robotics Innovation Center at Hazelwood Green and the success of the project thus far. The importance will collaborate on all facets of the construction and maintenance industry. The agreement solidifies a unified front to address industry challenges and leverage collective strengths. Ramtech Receives Top Honors for Modular Police Facility in Texas
Design-build construction firm Ramtech Building Systems has received a first-place Awards of Distinction trophy at the 41st annual Modular Building Institute 2024 World of Modular Conference and Tradeshow. Over 1,500 attendees gathered at the sold-out conference for networking opportunities and to hear speakers and presenters from across the world. Ramtech received the award in the Relocatable Modular Correctional category for the 4,760-square-foot police station and short-term holding facility built and installed for the city of Clyde, Texas.
