Skanska Completes North Carolina Surgical Hospital in Chapel Hill

UNC Health’s North Carolina Surgical Hospital has been completed. Rising seven-stories and spanning 375,000 square feet, Surgical Hospital is the largest addition to the Chapel Hill campus since it was built in 1952. Designed by Page and built by Skanska, the new surgical hospital offers 26 operating rooms, four of which are hybrid size operating rooms to accommodate additional equipment and technology for newly developed procedures, 59 pre- and post-operating rooms ,as well as two floors of ICU space with 80 beds. National Electrical Contractors Association Donates $50,000 to Helmets to Hardhats

The DC Chapter of the National Electrical Contractors Association has donated proceeds from its 2024 Washington, D.C. NECA Annual Golf Classic to Helmets to Hardhats. Rosendin Begins Construction on UCSF Health Helen Diller Hospital

Rosendin, an electrical contractor, has begun work on the new UCSF Health Helen Diller Hospital in San Francisco, California. The $4.3-billion project at the University of California, San Francisco’s flagship campus at Parnassus Heights is dubbed “the hospital of the future.” In August 2020, Rosendin was selected to be part of the project team that includes preconstruction and design-build work for a 15-story outpatient tower, led by general contractor Herrero Boldt Webcor, a tri-venture partnership between Herrero Builders, The Boldt Company and Webcor. Wellness Workdays Expands Partnership with Turner Construction for Site Workers in Texas

Wellness Workdays, a provider of workplace wellness programs, enhances its partnership with Turner Construction by expanding its Wellness Trailer 2.0 program to new locations in and around Texas.
