During its 2025 annual conference in Cleveland, Ohio, the International Code Council recognized individuals and organizations within the building safety industry who stand as examples of industry excellence. Award winners include: The Bobby J. Fowler Award honors the legacy of the organization’s first chair of the board of directors. Construction Pros Launch Toy Drive Aiding Thousands of Children

The Arizona Builders Alliance, an association for contractors in Arizona, is calling on community members to join them in making a difference in the lives of thousands of children in need this holiday season. Building on the success of last year’s drive, which raised over $40,000 and donated toys to over 3,000 children, the ABA’s Annual Toy Drive has begun collecting toys and monetary donations for nonprofit organizations serving children across the state. Turner Construction Company and Tennessee Oncology celebrated the opening of the $105 million Midtown Medical Office Building, a five-story, 311,881-square-foot facility that will serve as a hub for cancer care in Middle Tennessee. Turner provided comprehensive preconstruction and construction management services for the project, which features three levels of underground parking and five above-grade floors. The team managed three concurrent scopes of work: construction of the core and shell, full interior fit-out of four floors and completion of a specialized drug development unit. The manufacturer of industrial packaging is part of the globally operating Schütz Group, which is headquartered in Germany.
