Balfour Beatty, in joint venture with Clark/Sullivan, celebrated the completion and grand opening of the new Cesar Chavez Elementary School for Sacramento City Unified School District. The newly constructed campus replaces both Edward Kemble Elementary and Cesar Chavez Intermediate School, uniting them into a single, modern learning environment. Skanska Breaks Ground on Novo Nordisk Life Sciences Center in North Carolina

Skanska has been selected by Durham Tech Community College to build the Novo Nordisk Life Sciences Center at the college, located in North Carolina. The firm recently broke ground on the project which includes the demolition of the existing building. Construction is expected to be complete in March 2027. The new single-story 30,700-square-foot center will house 12 flexible, ballroom-style open lab modules, additional classroom space and various break rooms. Construction has started on the Atrium Health Concord Freestanding Emergency Department in Concord, North Carolina. The 11,021-square-foot project is being built entirely using modular construction.
