LeChase Oversees Expansion, Renovation of Minisink Valley High School Gymnasium

LeChase Construction Services is overseeing the expansion and renovation of athletic facilities at Minisink Valley High School in Middletown, New York. Taking advantage of the summer break, when the school’s 1,100 students are not in class, construction crews are adding a cardio room and new equipment storage room while upgrading the existing space. The entire project covers about 3,000 square feet and is designed by Tetra Tech Architects & Engineers. The new rooms and renovated space are scheduled to be available for use in the fall, shortly after the start of the 2025-26 school year.

Hoar Completes Work on Northeast Georgia Rehabilitation Institute

Hoar Construction has announced the ribbon cutting and official completion of the Northeast Georgia Rehabilitation Institute, a 62,000-square-foot, two-story rehabilitation hospital in Gainesville, Georgia. The project, which broke ground in March of 2024, is owned in partnership with Northeast Georgia Health System and Lifepoint Rehabilitation, a business unit of Lifepoint Health. Women in Timber Event Raises Money to Support Girls Build in Portland

The 2025 International Mass Timber Conference held in Portland, Oregon, March 25–27, hosted the third annual Women in Timber Power Hour with a record attendance of over 500. Women in Timber is a free event that’s produced through the generosity of the sponsors who support it each year. A portion of the funds raised from the event are donated to a like-minded organization to continue to champion women in the industry. McCarthy Building Companies has begun construction on a new 17-acre equipment and warehouse distribution facility in Maryland Heights, Missouri. The new McCarthy Equipment Operations Hub signals an essential investment to support the company’s projected growth for the Central Region and meet the expanding pipeline of large-scale, complex projects.
