Korte to Begin Fort Wadsworth Army Reserve Center Project
ST. LOUIS, Mo. — The proposed project consists of an addition and alterations to four existing Army Reserve Center buildings at Fort Wadsworth on Staten Island. The architectural component of the project includes the renovation and alterations of existing facilities in a campus setting on Staten Island, N.Y. The majority of the project will consist of interior renovations with the exception of the existing roofing systems. AGC States Skilled Construction Workers are in Demand
Construction employment increased in 145 out of 339 metropolitan areas between January 2012 and January 2013, declined in 141 and was stagnant in 53, according to a new analysis of federal employment data released today by the Associated General Contractors of America. Growth in Construction Activity, Equipment and Material Price Increases Boosts Construction Costs
NEW YORK, N.Y. — Turner Construction Company announced that the First Quarter 2013 Turner Building Cost Index — which measures costs in the non-residential building construction market in the United States — has increased to a value of 849.
