Response from teachers following the Lift & Move USA event, hosted by NessCampbell Crane + Rigging last month, was positive. In August, the Construction Industry Alliance for Suicide Prevention recently became classified as a public charity under Internal Revenue Code Section 501(c)(3) and, on Sept. 25, held its first strategic planning session in Washington, D.C. Formed two years ago by the Construction Financial Management Association, the mission of the alliance is to provide and disseminate information and resources for suicide prevention and mental health promotion in construction. National Construction Group Provides $100K+ to Puerto Rico Workers to Help Cover Damages
AGC Charities, Inc., the charitable arm of the Associated General Contractors of America, is providing 65 construction workers in Puerto Rico with $100,750 in donated funds to help cover losses they incurred as a result of Hurricane Maria.
