Expanding its portfolio of work in the Los Angeles/Orange County area, BNBuilders recently completed tenant improvements for the County of Orange Probation Department, located in Laguna Hills, California. The $3.6-million project is one of the firm’s recent and upcoming projects in the region. For the County of Orange, BNBuilders completed tenant improvements to an existing 13,286-square-foot, one-story building on a 50,041-square-foot lot. The general contractor performed both design/preconstruction and construction services for the project. An seismic renovation of the Robert A. Young Federal Building—one of downtown St. Louis, Missouri’s largest office buildings—has been completed to improve the historic structure’s seismic performance. The McCarthy Building Companies’-led Design-Build project team included Gensler (lead designer and architect of record), Etegra (associate architect) and Thornton Tomasetti (structural engineer). Other project team members included William Tao & Associates, Integrated Facility Services, Aschinger Electric and Wilson’s Structural Steel. The Design-Build Institute of America announces its 2019 Design-Build Project/Team Award Winners, including the Harrah’s Ak-Chin Hotel and Casino Expansion, located in Phoenix, Arizona, which has received a National Design-Build Merit Award in the Rehabilitation/Renovation/Restoration category. Ground Broken for $20M Facility at Fenton Logistics Park
Ground was recently broken for the new $20-million, 182,400-square-foot facility that 1st Phorm will occupy at Fenton Logistics Park in Fenton, Missouri by early next year.
