The Weitz Company Selected as Design-Builer for Texas A&M Student Housing Complex

The Weitz Company has been seleted as the design-builder for a new student housing project at Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas. The design/build construction portion of the $360-million project is $245 million. The largest student housing complex in the country to date, the Park West will accommodate 3,402 students in more than 1,300 units ranging from studios to four bedroom units in a variety of layouts throughout the campus. Sundt Selected to Build Student Services at Golden West College

HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. — Sundt Construction, Inc. was recently selected by the Coast Community College District as the construction manager for a new $24-million Student Services Center at the district's Golden West Campus in Huntington Beach, California. As the district's construction manager, Sundt will oversee, coordinate and direct construction activities during the pre-construction, bidding, construction and post-construction phases of the project. Level 10 Construction Named General Contractor for Biotech Facilities

SAN DIEGO, Calif. — Level 10 Construction has been selected as the general contractor for two biotech facilities being developed by Alexandria Real Estate Equities, Inc. The build outs include the headquarters and R&D facility for OncoSec Medical, Inc., and lab and office space for Polaris Group Pharmaceuticals. Clark Selected to Renovate and Expand Miami Beach Convention Center

MIAMI, Fla. — Clark Construction has been award a $500-million contract for the Miami Beach Convention Center Renovation and Expansion project. The project includes the renovation of 500,000 square feet of exhibit space and all ancillary interior spaces, including the building's main entrance.
