Safety statistics are reported from the company’s jobsites nationwide and represent self-performed work hours across diverse geographies and projects. Leaders credit operational practices that ensure all employees are educated on safe work practices, work crews have appropriate equipment, and frequent jobsite audits uncover potential problems. Stevens Construction has completed Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute in Winter Park Village, Florida. The company completed an interior 37,000-square-foot renovation of an existing building into a new cancer center, which includes an expansive treatment room, PET CT suite, blood draw room, laboratory, pharmacy, research offices, exam rooms, check-out and scheduling area and employee lounge. FCS incorporates principles of Evidence-Based Design, which have been proven to ease patient anxiety while offering opportunities for privacy or support during treatment.
