Harkins Announces Expansion with Opening of New Central Virginia/Tidewater Office

Harkins announced the opening of its new office in Richmond, Virginia, a geographic expansion that reflects the company’s growth into Central Virginia/Tidewater. The new office will be led by Senior Project Manager Damion Pizarro. The ACPA announced its first dedicated safety director: Tabah Nez. This inaugural position was created to further ACPA’s safety and certification programs for concrete pumping professionals. Swinerton, Mercy Housing California Inspire Next Generation of Builders, Architects, Engineers at ‘Minds Under Construction’ Steam Festival

Swinerton, in collaboration with affordable housing provider Mercy Housing California, announced dozens of youths participated in the “Minds Under Construction” festival in San Francisco’s Sunnydale neighborhood on Nov. 5. At the event, which was dedicated to advancing understanding and inspiring passion for the fields of science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics, participants worked with 3D printers and learned about designing earthquake-safe homes, working with electrical circuitry and water engineering.
