Construction Begins on Veterans Resource Center at Cypress College
A groundbreaking ceremony was recently held at Cypress College, located in Cypress, California, for the new Veterans Resource Center on its campus to be constructed by Sundt Construction, Inc. The state-of-the-art VRC will support the transition, integration and development of student veterans at the college. The Veterans Resource Center building addition will be the centerpiece of the Veterans Education Resource Complex, which includes a tribute garden, veterans memorial bridge and outdoor event plaza. National Construction Group, Local Volunteers Launch Construction on New Colorado Springs Playground
Construction charity AGC Charities, Inc. and the Colorado Contractors Association’s Emerging Leaders Council have begun construction of a new Head Start playground that will expand play learning opportunities for dozens of local children. Ground Broken on First Condo Tower in Seattle’s International District
PCL Construction Services, Inc. recently broke ground on the KODA Condominiums in Seattle, Washington. This $81.5-million tower is the first new-construction, for-sale high-rise to be built in the area known as Nihonmachi or Japantown, the gateway to the historic Chinatown-International District. KODA will feature 203 units within the building’s 17 stories. Two of the units are dedicated guest suites. The building will offer three levels of below-grade parking, various amenity spaces and retail at the street level.
