Construction Employment Rises in 287 Metro Areas Between August 2017, 2018 says AGC
Construction employment increased in 287 out of 358 metro areas (80 percent) between August 2017 and August 2018, declined in 35 (10 percent) and was unchanged in 36, according to a new analysis of federal employment data released by the Associated General Contractors of America. Sundt Celebrates ‘Topping Out’ in North Texas
DENTON, Texas – Sundt Construction, Inc. and the University of North Texas celebrated the topping out of the university’s new Biomedical Engineering addition, located at the northwest corner of the UNT Discovery Park campus in Denton, Texas. The ceremony, which commemorated the placement of the structure’s last steel beam, was held with university officials, the construction and design teams and approximately 200 students from the campus for a beam-signing ceremony in honor of this milestone.
