Skanska USA has achieved substantial completion eight days early on the New D-Hall dining facility on the campus of James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia. The dining hall officially opened with the fall semester in August. The more modern three-story, 101,000-square-foot building offers additional seating and entrances directly from the commons. It replaces the demolished Gibbons Hall, known on campus as D-Hall, built in the mid-1960s. Construction Employment Rises in 45 States, D.C. from August 2017 Year-Over-Year

45 states and the District of Columbia added construction jobs between August 2017 and August 2018, while 33 states added construction jobs between July and August, according to an analysis by the Associated General Contractors of America of Labor Department data. The total potential value of this contract is approximately $32.7 million.
