Hoar Construction has announced the ribbon cutting and official completion of the Northeast Georgia Rehabilitation Institute, a 62,000-square-foot, two-story rehabilitation hospital in Gainesville, Georgia. The project, which broke ground in March of 2024, is owned in partnership with Northeast Georgia Health System and Lifepoint Rehabilitation, a business unit of Lifepoint Health. ABC: Nonresidential Construction Spending Contracts in 6 of Past 7 Months
National nonresidential construction spending decreased 0.1% in June, according to an Associated Builders and Contractors’ analysis of data published by the U.S. Census Bureau. On a seasonally adjusted annualized basis, nonresidential spending totaled $1.241 trillion. Spending was down on a monthly basis in 9 of the 16 nonresidential subcategories. Women in Timber Event Raises Money to Support Girls Build in Portland
The 2025 International Mass Timber Conference held in Portland, Oregon, March 25–27, hosted the third annual Women in Timber Power Hour with a record attendance of over 500. Women in Timber is a free event that’s produced through the generosity of the sponsors who support it each year.
