ATLANTA, Ga. – One of the most exciting and iconic projects in the city of Atlanta, Georgia’s booming Old Fourth Ward neighborhood has moved a major step closer to completion. The City of Atlanta Department of Parks and Recreation and Winter Johnson FS360, a joint venture, recently celebrated topping out of the new Martin Luther King Jr. Recreation and Aquatic Center. Skanska Signs Contract for $35M for Ongoing New York City Project

Skanska has booked an additional order for its existing contract with The Durst Organization to renovate 1155 Avenue of the Americas, a high-rise building located in Midtown Manhattan in New York City. Skanska is providing infrastructure upgrades and core finishes to 30 floors in preparation for new tenants. Updates to the building include new floor air-handling units, cooling towers, emergency generator, emergency power riser, core restrooms, perimeter insulation, fire protection sprinklers and a new building management system. The incremental addition includes interior cell phone antenna and IT systems, as well as roofing.
