The awareness event comprises a mental health fair, dinner and discussion on suicide prevention led by international suicide prevention advocate Kevin Hines. Construction Employment Increases by 6,000 Jobs in March

Construction employment increased by 6,000 jobs in March as a February hiring surge prompted by mild winter weather in much of the country prompted firms to hire fewer people last month, according to an analysis of new government data by the Associated General Contractors of America. Skanska to Build I-15 Express Lanes Project in California’s Inland Empire

Skanska and joint venture firm Ames Construction have been awarded a $243.9-million Design-Build contract from the Riverside County Transportation Commission to construct new express toll lanes on the I-15 freeway in California. Skanska USA Civil will include its $146.3-million portion of the contract in its Q1 2017 order bookings. The project will improve I-15 between Cajalco Road and State Route 60, adding two tolled express lanes in each direction, a distance of 14.6 miles.
