HOUSTON/Austin, Texas – Linbeck Group, LLC, has begun building Austin by Ellsworth Kelly, the artist’s gift to the Blanton Museum of Art at The University of Texas at Austin. Deemed by some his most monumental work, Linbeck is constructing the project that includes the installation of 18 pieces of art each designed by the internationally acclaimed artist. Skanska to Build I-15 Express Lanes Project in California’s Inland Empire

Skanska and joint venture firm Ames Construction have been awarded a $243.9-million Design-Build contract from the Riverside County Transportation Commission to construct new express toll lanes on the I-15 freeway in California. Skanska USA Civil will include its $146.3-million portion of the contract in its Q1 2017 order bookings. The project will improve I-15 between Cajalco Road and State Route 60, adding two tolled express lanes in each direction, a distance of 14.6 miles. Mortenson to Help Build Community Ties with $38M Wellness Center

CHICAGO, Ill. – Mortenson Construction is launching a major renovation and expansion of Harper College’s sports and wellness center to create a state-of-the-art health and recreation center for the Palatine, Illinois community college and Chicago’s northwest suburbs.
