Construction firm Robins & Morton completed a new $120 million, 131,000-square-foot long-term care facility for the Cherokee Indian Hospital Authority in Cherokee, North Carolina. The facility — called the Tsali Care Center — stands two stories and contains 120 private resident rooms. It is devoted to the care of the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians and will feature skilled nursing, assisted living and memory care services, in addition to a dialysis center. Construction firm Robins & Morton is making progress on the new Permian Basin Behavioral Health Center in Midland, Texas. The 200-bed, $232 million facility, being built on a 54-acre site, will offer short- and long-term treatment for psychiatric patients of all ages. Wisconsin is the No. 1 state for construction, according to Associated Builders and Contractors’ 10th annual Merit Shop Scorecard.
