$50M Addition, Renovation Project Begins at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital – Hoke
A $50-million addition and renovation project at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital – Hoke in Raeford, North Carolina broke ground. Encompassing 50,000 square feet, the project includes a two-story addition with 24 patient rooms, a new medical office building and improvements to the existing sterile processing, imaging, kitchen, and dining facilities. The project is scheduled for completion in 2027. Robins & Morton is the general contractor. Grace Design Studios is the architect.

The American Concrete Institute has conducted its first Spanish-language certification exams for Concrete Field Testing Technician – Grade 1 and Concrete Strength Testing Technician at the ACI Southern California Resource Center. Architecture Firm Billings Continue to Contract Heading into 2026
The AIA/Deltek Architecture Billings Index dropped to 43.8 in January, down from 47.1 in December, signaling a greater number of firms experienced a decline in billings compared to the previous month. In January, inquiries for new projects dropped for the first time since April 2025, alongside a decline in newly signed design contracts, as client uncertainty persisted and new projects tended to be smaller in scale.
