Associated Builders and Contractors has released an artificial intelligence technology guide for the construction community, which includes definitions, construction use cases and considerations. The purpose of the guide is to provide a level of knowledge to ensure contractors can be active participants in the construction AI conversation. The guide describes uses of AI during the construction project lifecycle, including preconstruction, construction and building maintenance. Phelps Construction Group Begins Ellis Island Museum Renovations

Phelps Construction Group has begun the renovations to the National Museum of Immigration on Ellis Island in New York harbor, a project for The Statue of Liberty-Ellis Island Foundation working in partnership with the National Park Service. Phelps was selected by the foundation as the construction manager during the early stages of the project. LeChase Construction Services has begun the renovation and expansion of Open Door Family Medical Center facilities in two downtown Ossining, New York buildings. The buildings, at 2 Church St. and 165 Main St., sit across the street from each other, but are from vastly different eras. National Construction Charity, Sierra Pacific West & Make-a-wish San Diego Unveil New ‘Man Cave’ for Young Man In La Jolla

AGC Charities, Sierra Pacific West and Make-A-Wish San Diego teamed up to lead dozens of volunteers to build a dedicated “man cave” for puzzles and hobbies to fulfill a local boy’s wish. The volunteer workday in La Jolla, California involved completing and painting the standalone, climate-controlled man cave in the boy’s back yard. All of the work was done free of charge.
