AGC Releases Recent Construction Employment Data February 2015, 2016

Forty-three states and the District of Columbia added construction jobs between February 2015 and February 2016 while construction employment increased in 27 states between January and February, according to analysis of Labor Department data recently released by the Associated General Contractors of America. Gilbane Completes Auto Technology Project at Evergreen Community College

SAN JOSE, Calif. – Gilbane Building Company has recently completed Evergreen Valley College’s Auto Technology project in San Jose, Calif. This is an important technical training facility for the college and the Evergreen community. Gilbane has been the construction management company overseeing the project. The building is approximately 25,800 square feet and consists of four labs/shops with 14 lifts, as well as five classrooms and specialized features for automobile-manufacturer sponsored repair programs. LOUIS, Mo. — MC Industrial, Inc. recently celebrated the topping out of one of its major 2016 projects, the expansion of Boeing’s new composite facility, the St. Louis Composite Center of Excellence, in Missouri.
