Clark JV to Build Warriors’ Chase Center

Joint Venture partners Clark Construction Group and Mortenson Construction have been selected by GSW Arena LLC to build the Golden State Warriors’ new sports and entertainment venue, Chase Center, in Mission Bay, San Francisco. Chase Center is scheduled to open in time for the 2019-20 NBA season. GSW plans to build its new state-of-the-art venue on an 11-acre site in San Francisco’s Mission Bay neighborhood. AGC Releases Recent Construction Employment Data February 2015, 2016

Forty-three states and the District of Columbia added construction jobs between February 2015 and February 2016 while construction employment increased in 27 states between January and February, according to analysis of Labor Department data recently released by the Associated General Contractors of America. Gilbane Completes Auto Technology Project at Evergreen Community College

SAN JOSE, Calif. – Gilbane Building Company has recently completed Evergreen Valley College’s Auto Technology project in San Jose, Calif. This is an important technical training facility for the college and the Evergreen community. Gilbane has been the construction management company overseeing the project. The building is approximately 25,800 square feet and consists of four labs/shops with 14 lifts, as well as five classrooms and specialized features for automobile-manufacturer sponsored repair programs. LOUIS, Mo. — MC Industrial, Inc. recently celebrated the topping out of one of its major 2016 projects, the expansion of Boeing’s new composite facility, the St. Louis Composite Center of Excellence, in Missouri. Selected as general contractor for the Design-Build project in 2014, MC Industrial, along with design partner Burns & McDonnell, have managed the design and construction of the multi-million dollar expansion.
