ALACHUA, Fla. — The Build Your Future Initiative announced it has renewed its sponsorship of No. 81 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series driver David Starr for the 2013 season. After his successful fifteenth Truck Series season in 2012, BYF was eager to expand its support of Starr in its third consecutive season as a sponsor. Turner School of Construction Management Coming to Greater Washington D.C.

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Turner Construction Company announced its largest program in the area to date. The 2013 Turner School of Construction Management will be hosted by the DC Small Business Development Center at Howard University. Turner developed an 8-week curriculum to provide management training and certification to potential subcontractors. AEM Updates Safety Pictorial Database

The Association of Equipment Manufacturers recently updated its already extensive online safety pictorial database. More than a dozen new and updated pictorials have been added, increasing the number of graphics to 145, with more additions planned in the near future. AEM's free service promotes effective safety messaging through the use of consistent, industry-recognized pictorial images that are not dependent on language to warn operators and others of potential hazards. Nonresidential Construction Index Continues to Rise

RALEIGH, N.C. — FMI, a provider of management consulting and investment banking to the engineering and construction industry, announces the release of The 2013 First Quarter Nonresidential Construction Index report. The NRCI of 58.1 is a 2.6-point improvement over the fourth quarter of 2012.
