Tocci worked with architects Robert Luchetti Associates and engineers Zade Associates to create additional incubator lab space for four subtenants: Zed/Transocean, Open Water Power, Quantum Diamond and Dynamo Micropower. Crane That Can Lift 1,900 Tons Arrives at Tappan Zee Bridge Construction Site
PIERMONT, N.Y. — One of the world's largest floating cranes, a blue and red behemoth bearing two American flags, recently arrived at New York's Tappan Zee Bridge construction site. The Left Coast Lifter, which has a boom that extends to about 328 feet, can hoist big chunks of bridge that will be built at a factory and floated to the site, greatly reducing the time and cost of construction, said Gov. Construction Employment, Spending Gains Remain Uneven from August 2013, 2014
Construction employment expanded in 220 metro areas, declined in 73 and was stagnant in 46 between August 2013 and August 2014, according to a new analysis of federal employment data recently released by the Associated General Contractors of America.
