 The Concrete Industry Management program – a business-intensive program that awards students with a four-year Bachelor of Science degree in Concrete Industry Management – is seeking donations for its 2024 CIM Auction to be held at World of Concrete. DPR Construction marked the topping out of the Southwest Healthcare Inland Valley Hospital expansion project in Wildomar, California. The new seven-story, 290,000-square-foot patient tower will accommodate 102 beds to support Riverside County’s growing population. The campus will be equipped with clinical technologies for minimally invasive procedures and advanced therapies, and sustainable infrastructure including energy-efficient LED fixtures and solar panels. Construction Employment Increases in 45 States, D.C.

Construction employment increased in 45 states and the District of Columbia in July from a year earlier, while 27 states added construction employees from June to July, according to a new analysis of federal employment data released by the Associated General Contractors of America. Association officials said recent job gains would be more widespread if government officials helped more people prepare for construction careers.
