Turner Construction Crew Places Final Steel Beam on 5-Story Cancer Center in Tennessee

A topping out ceremony was recently held for the $76.4-million Midtown Medical Office Building and $25.4-million Tennessee Oncology tenant improvements in Nashville, Tennessee. The final steel beam was signed by the workers and clients during the topping-out celebration. When complete, the five-story cancer care center will combine imaging, medical and radiation cancer care specialists under one roof. The project includes technology investments focusing on cancer prevention, detection and treatment. Construction Begins on University of North Texas Science and Technology Building

Construction has started on the University of North Texas Science and Technology Building on the university’s main campus in Denton, Texas. Construction is expected to be completed in spring 2026. Skanska is serving as the project’s general contractor. The 110,000-square foot, $87 million new building will fulfill a critical need for more modern facilities that support collaborative and interdisciplinary research on campus.
