Skanska USA has completed the largest renovation project in the history of the Tampa Convention Center in Downtown Tampa, Florida that will cater to locals and business and leisure travelers. Vikram Solar, Phalanx Impact Partners and Das & Co. have formed a new U.S. joint venture and majority U.S.-owned and operated company – VSK Energy LLC – with plans to invest up to $1.5 billion to develop a vertically integrated solar manufacturing operation in the United States. The Connecticut Technical Education and Career System, Gilbane Building Company and JCJ Architecture have broken ground on the new Bullard Havens Technical High School in Bridgeport, Connecticut. Designed by JCJ, the new 215,000-square-foot school will be built on the existing 24-acre site in multiple phases over a 41-month schedule to accommodate existing operations.
