The Rehabilitation Hospital of Oak Creek, a 58,000-square-foot inpatient rehabilitation facility designed to serve patients throughout the Milwaukee, Wisconsin region, is open. Operated by Lifepoint Rehabilitation, the hospital features 40 private patient rooms and provides specialized care for individuals recovering from stroke, brain and spinal cord injuries, neurological disorders, orthopedic conditions, amputations and other complex medical events. HudsonAlpha Institute for Biotechnology opened a new global headquarters on its campus in Huntsville, Alabama. The 93,000-square-foot building will be home to the Discovery Life Sciences’ global headquarters. Alabama Gov. Kay Ivey led the ribbon cutting ceremony. Topped Out HudsonAlpha Discovery Life Sciences Building Features Prefabricated Exterior Walls

Brasfield & Gorrie celebrated the topping out of the HudsonAlpha Discovery Life Sciences building in Huntsville, Alabama. Construction on the lab and office building is scheduled for completion in the second quarter of 2023. The building will house Discovery Life Sciences, which conducts life science research and is located in a smaller space on the campus of HudsonAlpha Institute for Biotechnology. The 95,000-square-foot lab and office building included prefabricated exterior walls, which are a campus standard. Prefabricated materials are constructed offsite in a controlled environment, which increases safety and control of scheduling.
