DPR Construction Receives 4 Project Awards for Construction Excellence

The Georgia chapter of the Associated Builders and Contractors recently recognized DPR Construction with two Excellence in Construction awards for Clemson University’s Allen N. Reeves Football Complex and Camp Southern Ground’s Peterson Dining Hall. The EIC award celebrates the innovation and vision of the project team. Projects are judged on a variety of criteria such as safety, personnel management, quality control, scheduling and degree of difficulty. Chris Payne Assumes Role as New Chair of CMAA

MCLEAN, Va. – Christopher Payne, PE, CCM, executive vice president and chief operating officer of MBP, became chair of the Construction Management Association of America at the association’s National Conference and Trade Show in Washington, D.C. O’Hare Runway Wins Project of the Year Award from CMAA

CHICAGO, Ill. – The Construction Management Association of America has named a new runway built at O’Hare International Airport in Chicago, Illinois, as 2016 Project of the Year. The award for runway 10R-28L was presented to the Chicago Department of Aviation and WSP|Parsons Brinckerhoff in October at the 2016 CMAA National Conference and Trade Show Industry Recognition Dinner. The runway also received CMAA’s Project Achievement Award for infrastructure with constructed value greater than $150 million. Winter Johnson Group Awarded Top Prizes for Construction of Library

ATLANTA, Ga. – The Construction Management Association of America has awarded the Winter Johnson Group two Project Achievement awards for the construction of the new Metropolitan Library, a branch library on the south side of Atlanta, Georgia. The Winter Johnson Group built the new branch library on the former site of the Capital View Baptist Church, which the neighboring communities viewed as an important landmark. Hill International Wins Three Regional CMAA Project Achievement Awards

PHILADELPHIA, Pa., and NEW YORK, N.Y. – Hill International has been recognized with three regional Project Achievement Awards from the Construction Management Association of America.
