RIVERSIDE, Calif. – Sundt Construction, Inc. was recently selected as general contractor by California Baptist University for a new events center and arena located on the southeast quadrant of the school’s main campus in Riverside, California. The $73-million project will create the 66-year-old university’s largest gathering space and events center to accommodate a surge in growth over the past few years. Strong Demand for Construction Continues in Most States, Reports AGC
Forty-four states and the District of Columbia added construction jobs in 2015 while construction employment increased in 39 states and D.C. between November and December amid strong demand for construction in most states, according to analysis of Labor Department data recently released by the Associated General Contractors of America. Hourigan-Sundt JV Awarded $36M Project at Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek – Fort Story
VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – The U.S. Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Mid-Atlantic, Norfolk, Virginia, recently awarded Hourigan-Sundt, a joint venture of Hourigan Construction and Sundt Construction, Inc., a $36-million contract to design, construct and renovate an Explosive Ordnance Disposal Consolidated Operations Complex at Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek – Fort Story in Virginia Beach, Virginia. The 150,000-square-foot project will provide space for operations, logistics, storage and administrative support facilities.
