McCarthy Building Companies, Inc. has added Ann Poppen as project director for its Northern Pacific Region. Drawing on more than 26 years of experience in design, planning, preconstruction design phase services and project execution, Poppen will oversee projects from development through occupancy. She serves as part of the Sacramento Business Unit in the company’s Roseville, California office. As project director, Poppen will lead McCarthy’s project teams and is already working on the planning phases of McCarthy’s newest high-rise project, Stanislaus County’s New Modesto Courthouse, with construction set to begin in early 2020.
