The Claude “Bud” Lewis Carlsbad Desalination Plant was recognized as the 2016 Design-Build Project of the Year. DBIA’s 2016 Design-Build Project/Team Awards competition will again recognize exemplary application of Design-Build Done Right that, at a minimum, resulted in highly successful Design-Build projects that achieved best value while meeting design and construction quality, cost and schedule goals.
