Dodge Momentum Index Moves Higher in October

NEW YORK, N.Y. – The Dodge Momentum Index grew 4.1 percent in October to 133.6 from its revised September reading of 128.3 (2000=100). The index is a monthly measure of the first (or initial) report for nonresidential building projects in planning, which have been shown to lead construction spending for nonresidential buildings by a full year. Dodge Momentum Index Stumbles in September

NEW YORK, N.Y. – The Dodge Momentum Index fell 4.3 percent in September to 129.0 from its revised August reading of 134.8 (2000=100). The index is a monthly measure of the first (or initial) report for nonresidential building projects in planning, which have been shown to lead construction spending for nonresidential buildings by a full year. NEW YORK, N.Y. – The Dodge Momentum Index grew 1.3 percent in August to 134.9 (2000=100), from its revised July reading of 133.2. The momentum index is a monthly measure of the first (or initial) report for nonresidential building projects in planning, which have been shown to lead construction spending for nonresidential buildings by a full year. NEW YORK, N.Y. – The Dodge Momentum Index moved slightly higher in July, increasing 0.5 percent to 134.7 (2000=100) from its revised June reading of 134.1. NEW YORK, N.Y. – The Dodge Momentum Index rose 2.4 percent in May to 119.4 from its revised April reading of 116.6 (2000=100).
