Northacre, Multiplex Sign Contract for Delivery of ‘The Broadway’

Developer Northacre has selected Multiplex to deliver The Broadway development in Westminster, England, with the official contract signing recently carried out. Following a successful nine-month, single-stage competitive tender process for the £422m Design-Build contract, Multiplex will now deliver the 1.72-acre mixed-use development on the site of the former Metropolitan Police headquarters. Balfour Beatty to Deliver £33M Health & Life Sciences Building for University of Reading

Balfour Beatty has been selected by the University of Reading, England, to deliver its new £33-million Health and Life Sciences building. Balfour Beatty will be responsible for the construction of the 7,500-square-meter state-of-the-art teaching and research facility which, on completion, will form an integral part of the University’s 10-year campus regeneration program. The general contractor has worked in collaboration with the University of Reading through its building framework since July 2015.
