ABC Publishes Inaugural Construction Technology Report

Associated Builders and Contractors released its inaugural Tech Report, a study of the innovative technology and tools that ABC contractor members are using on jobsites to be safer, more profitable and primed to win more work. The report was sourced from a survey conducted from March through May 2021. TDIndustries Earns Excellence in Construction Award for Healthcare Project

The Associated Builders and Contractors’ South Texas Region awarded TDIndustries an Excellence in Construction award for work on HCA/Methodist Healthcare’s Stone Oak Hospital, located in San Antonio. The accolade came in the $2-$10 million category. TD renovated and expanded 27,000 square feet dedicated to operating, prep/recovery, decontamination and anesthesia care. The general contractor performed mechanical, plumbing, medical gas and ductwork installations and change-outs. In addition, TD installed two new air handling units (renovating a third), a water-cooled chiller package, roof drains and nozzles and more than 50 plumbing fixtures. Robins & Morton’s Pyramid Award winners include: AdventHealth Carrollwood Healthcare $25 million to $100 million category Located in Tampa, Florida, the $52-million project included a three-level, 62,800-square-foot horizontal expansion and 40,810 square feet of renovation. National Construction Organization Honors Brasfield & Gorrie for Excellence

The Associated General Contractors recently recognized Brasfield & Gorrie at its 27th Annual Excellence in Construction Awards ceremony. The firm received two awards in recognition of recent construction projects. Brasfield & Gorrie received a Pyramid award in recognition of its work on the Cherry Point P163 Marine Air Support Squadron Maintenance and Operations Complex in Cherry Point, North Carolina. The firm also received a Pyramid award honoring its work on the Georgia Aquarium Sea Lion Exhibit in Atlanta, Georgia.
