Mortenson has completed the enclosure of the major new addition to Halas Hall, putting it on track to complete the expansion and renovation of the home of the Chicago Bears National League Football team before the start of next year’s football season. Brasfield & Gorrie recently joined Georgia Aquarium representatives, Atlanta, Georgia public school students and local community partners to break ground on the Aquarium’s Expansion 2020 project. The effort will change the face of the aquarium by adding a new four-story structure that will complement the existing building’s iconic boat façade. MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Turner Construction Company is beginning the first phase of a $10.6-million expansion and renovation of the University of Memphis’ athletic training facility on its Park Avenue campus in Tennessee. Just in time for the start of second-semester classes, College of Lake County finished moving into a completely remodeled C Wing, which marked the final phase of Mortenson Construction’s multi-year, $50-million renovation and expansion project at the school’s main Grayslake, Illinois campus. Starting in 2015, Mortenson demolished and rebuilt 190,000 square feet and added 30,000 square feet to the community college’s primary two buildings.
