The S/L/A/M Collaborative and S/L/A/M Construction Services were selected to design and construct a major multi-phased, multi-year expansion and renovation of Chapel Haven’s campus located in New Haven, Connecticut. Chapel Haven is a residential school and independent living facility that empowers adults with cognitive and social disabilities to live independent and happy lives. Harrah’s Ak-Chin Casino Resort Expansion Celebrates Topping Out

AK-CHIN INDIAN COMMUNITY – Sundt | Yates Construction and Harrah’s Ak-Chin Casino celebrated the topping out of a new 12-story, 230-room hotel tower last month. Members of the project team signed the final steel beam before workers placed it on the structure. When complete, the casino resort expansion will enhance this entertainment venue for the Ak-Chin Indian Community and the surrounding communities of Pinal County, including Maricopa, Arizona. BOSTON, Mass. – BOND has recently completed 20,000 square feet of the newly renovated expansion space at Lynn Community Health Center located at 269 Union Street in Lynn, Massachusetts. Lynn Community Health Center is the medical care home to more than 40,000 patients and for over 40 percent of the population who live in the city. This project is part of the LCHC’s Stephen D. Construction Underway of $110-Million Modernization of Big Ten Basketball Arena

CHICAGO, Ill. – Mortenson Construction has been selected to transform Welsh-Ryan Arena into a world-class playing and practice facility for Northwestern University’s basketball, volleyball and wrestling teams. The $110-million renovation and expansion project began in mid-March in Evanston, Illinois, just as Northwestern’s men’s basketball team made its first run in the NCAA basketball tournament. The architect for the project is HOK. The Welsh-Ryan Arena is scheduled to complete in the fall of 2018 so each sports team misses just one season playing in the arena. Campus for All Animals Expansion Tops Out

HOUSTON, Texas – The Houston SPCA will celebrate the construction midpoint of its premier, state-of-the-art Campus for All Animals at 11:30 a.m. on May 4 in Houston, Texas. The topping out ceremony will feature remarks by representatives from the Houston SPCA and from Linbeck Group, the construction team for the multi-million dollar project.
