BITEC Consolidates Coatings Under Storm Breaker Brand

BITEC recently consolidated its roof coatings lines under the Storm Breaker brand, with the intention of promoting its extensive selection of silicone, SEBS, acrylic and urethane coatings under the Storm Breaker name. The tradename was acquired through the company’s acquisition of the Viking Products Group in 2024. BITEC will continue to promote its two aluminized coatings under the MAC brand and its line of adhesives under the PMA brand. Tutor Perini Corporation, in a joint venture with O&G Industries, has been identified as the Apparent Selected Proposer by the New York City Department of Design and Construction for the new Manhattan Jail Facility. The project scope includes design and construction of a new facility that will have dedicated space for onsite services and programming, indoor and outdoor recreation, food services, staff offices and facilities, amenities, below-grade accessory parking and a secured entry. National Maintenance Agreements Policy Committee, Inc. has awarded Barton Malow Company the Bronze Star for logging more than 200,000 safe work hours on the Ultium Cells 2 Battery Plant in Spring Hill, Tennessee. The company also earned the Certificate of Merit for logging more than 100,000 safe work hours on the Cleveland-Cliffs, Inc. plant in Burns Harbor, Indiana.
