LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Skanska its joint-venture partner Stacy and Witbeck will begin construction of foundations for the new Sixth Street Viaduct in Los Angeles, California, this this month. This is a significant milestone for the project which, until now, has primarily consisted of the demolition of the previous structure. Foundation work will commence immediately and conclude late in 2017. Numerous foundations will be drilled, utilizing thousands of cubic yards of concrete and millions of pounds of reinforcing steel. In Joint Venture, Skanska to Build Light Rail in San Diego

RIVERSIDE, Calif. – Skanska and Mid-Coast Transit Contractors – a joint venture of Stacy and Witbeck, Herzog and Skanska – has been awarded a $921.8-million construction manager/general contractor contract from the San Diego Association of Governments to construct the Mid-Coast Trolley in San Diego, California.
