BAM Wins 4 Contracts in Luxembourg

BAM Lux, a subsidiary of BAM’s Walloon company Galère, has won four contracts with a combined construction value of more than €25 million. The most extensive project concerns the concrete works for the office tower of the European Commission’s new complex in Luxembourg (Netherlands). This scheme, named Jean Monnet 2, has been commissioned by the Luxembourg building agency, Administration des Bâtiments Publics. Netherlands Municipality Officials Sign Vijfsluizen Project Agreement

The municipality of Vlaardingen and Heijmans have signed a letter of intent for the development of the former Vijfsluizen sports park. Heijmans intends to develop and construct between 300 and 400 homes at that location. The project’s value is expected to be in the €80 million to €100 million range and will become a new district within the municipality of Vlaardingen, located in the Netherlands. Fluor-Led A27/A1 Motorways Widening Project Opens to Traffic in the Netherlands

Fluor Corporation’s project to widen and upgrade A27/A1 motorways in the Netherlands has officially opened to traffic. The upgraded motorways connect Utrecht North and the Eemnes Junction, as well as the A1 motorway between the Eemnes Junction and the Bunschoten-Spakenburg connection. Printing Starts for World’s First 3-D Printed Cycle Bridge in Netherlands

On June 16, BAM Infra, one of Royal BAM Group’s operating companies in the Netherlands, began to 3-D print the world’s first fully structurally pre-stressed concrete cycle bridge. This cycle bridge has been developed by BAM Infra in cooperation with TU Eindhoven and is part of Gemert Noord-Om, a project being carried out for the Dutch province of Noord-Brabant.
